One of the important components of a powerful gaming PC is a CPU cooler. It's a component that doesn't really get much attention but definitely makes a difference in performance and stability. Generally, CPU coolers come in two types: air and liquid coolers.
Air coolers usually come with an aluminum heatsink and an attached fan to cool parts. Liquid coolers, on the other hand, don't have a big heatsink but do the job by using liquid and radiators. However, Noctua has come up with a new CPU air cooler called NH-P1 that comes with a massive heatsink without fans.
The NH-P1 is a one-of-a-kind air cooler design primarily built for passive cooling performance and quieter operations. This cooler is said to support all the latest AMD and Intel sockets.
The NH-P1 was spotted on Newegg by FanlessTech with a $100 price tag. Though the product listing has now been removed.
Let us now take a look at the features of NH-P1:

Compatible with all RAM sizes including on AMD AM4 and Intel LGA1200/115x kits
The cooler clears the top of PCIe slots on most ATX and micro ATX motherboards
A post claims that NH-P1 comes with a Torx-based SecuFirm2+ mounting system which is compatible with Intel's LGA1200, LGA115x, and LGA1200xx sockets, and allows support for AMD's AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2, and FM2 sockets
Speaking of the design, the cooler also comes with six heat pipes that run from the base of the heatsink to the top middle. The heat pipe arrangement features an arching design, giving room for other components in the PC, including the graphics card.
To make things interesting, Noctua is also offering support for a 120-mm fan for improved cooling.
While the product listing is gone at Newegg, the $100 price tag of the Noctua NH-P1 is likely, which isn't cheap for a cooler without fans, and we can't wait for it to launch soon.
