Xur is back, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found standing in the Hall of Guardians, near the conference table.
We’re staring down one of the first big gaming weekends of 2017. Gamers from around the country are gathering in San Antonio for PAX South. Many of those who couldn’t make it to the Lone Star State for this weekend’s festivities are busy tearing one another apart in the ongoing For Honor closed beta. And all of that is just icing on the cake for the Destiny community, which rarely needs more than a visit from Xur to make Friday morning the most exciting time of the week. The number of people still buying gear from the Agent of the Nine, on a weekly basis, has undoubtedly dipped over the last few years. But that doesn’t stop millions of Destiny players from diving back in each weekend, hoping to find something exciting waiting in Xur’s shop.
Last week, the Agent of the Nine’s visit was mostly more of the same disappointment we’ve come to expect from the traveling item vendor. The chance to add the MIDA Multi-Tool to our collection is always appreciated, particularly among those who still own paltry armories. It’s not quite so easy to get excited about our 20th chance to buy Helm of Inmost Light or Obsidian Mind though. But a few disappointing trips certainly isn’t enough to kill the Destiny community’s enthusiasm. The only question is whether or not our luck will turn around this weekend.
Here’s everything Xur is selling the Destiny community Jan. 27 - 29:
The Glasshouse

As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks! And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with green and blue contrails available this week, along with Motes of Light, Heavy Ammo Synthesis (in stacks of three and 10) and Glass Needles.
Destiny: Rise Of Iron is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One.
