It’s Xur day, Guardians!
This week, Xur can be found waiting in Tower North
We’re several weeks into the final Destiny live event, Age of Triumph, and less than a month away from the recently announced Destiny 2 gameplay reveal. But that doesn’t mean that the game’s most enthusiastic supporters don’t still have a few reasons to get excited about Bungie’s shared-world shooter. Bungie is still rolling out updated versions of the game’s raids, each featuring new encounters and new equipment, and Xur is still making his weekly pilgrimage to the Tower (or Reef) to trade with the Destiny community. Even if that trip doesn’t always yield the plethora of new and exciting equipment we all hope for week after week.
Last week, Xur broke his recent hot streak. It wasn’t the worst assortment of exotic equipment we’ve seen on the Agent of the Nine’s inventory sheet. But it’s pretty hard to get Bones of Eao or Heart of the Praxic Fire in April 2017; especially when none of our hard-earned equipment is going to carry over to Destiny 2 anyway. A few people might jump at the opportunity to pick up Hard Light or the ACD/0 Feedback Fence. There won’t be many though. So let’s hope this week’s offerings are a bit more exciting for the average Destiny player.
Here’s everything Xur is offering to Destiny players April 21-23:
An Insurmountable Skullfort
- Defense: 350
- Intellect: 38
- Strength: 39
Shinobu's Vow
- Defense: 350
- Intellect: 35
- Discipline: 35
Nothing Manacles
- Defense: 350
- Intellect: 37
- Discipline: 39
Hard Light
- Attack: 350
- Magazine: 33
Legacy Engram - Heavy Weapon
Exotic Shard
There are also some new additions to Xur's inventory sheet this week: weapon bundles. Destiny players can purchase Dragon's Breath, with the Tiger Shark ornament, or Zhalo Supercell, with the Shock Hazard ornament, in exchange for 30 Strange Coins. The Agent of the Nine has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, Xur is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks! And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with green and blue contrails available this week, along with Motes of Light, Heavy Ammo Synthesis (in stacks of three and 10) and Glass Needles.
Destiny: Rise of Iron is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One.
